• About Swarmandal
• Swarmandal is an Indian form of harp. It is an accompanying instrument in Hindustani Classical singing, of North India. These instruments are popularly used to bridge the short intervals between two different songs performed by the female singers
• The singers play the instrument by striking the open strings with fingers, like harp. Swarmandals are nicely designed and finely polished instruments. They have multiple strings and can be tuned to the desired pitch
